This sprang from me trying to define "flippancy" for Meri. I told her it was a lighter form of snark, "Diet Snark" if she would.
Best line in Firefly. Or one of them, at least. There's a lot of good ones. But you just have to love Wash and his dinosaurs.
I was laughing my ass off the first time I saw Linderman say that. Lir and I figure that pot pie is a euphamism, and very preferable to being offered zuchini. |

A couple things. First, another icon based on something Lir said:
Secondly, work yesterday. I started out dressing mannequins, which was interesting. They were torso only, so in order to undress them (which I had to do before I could start dressing them, obviously), I either had to kneel on the floor or hold them up. I wanted to be able to keep an eye on the store, so I slipped an arm around the waist of the mannequin.
I feel you can never get too much practice in taking satiny blouses off a female form using just one hand. *Grins* Not that I'm at all bad at it. Just so you know. |
